| The Turk Redbird or RedHawk Award Gets thrown to Football Icon, Motivational Speaker and newly Turk Ordained Wildcat, Bill Curry All Wildcats like pouncing on Birds. Especially as they look forward to cleaning their claws on redhawks this August. Once finished, the Redhawks will look more like Red Hummingbirds. Turk hereby officially ordains Football Icon Bill Curry as an Honorary Wildcat. Yes, Bill Curry, the motivational speaker, Pro & College Football Icon was in attendance and spoke to our wildcats last night and again today during practice. No doubt he is spending time with Fitz also. A few posters from Rivals.com Wildcat Report talked to Curry and told him thanks for supporting our coach and team. Curry's words were, "It's an honor for me to be here". The Practice opened again with the defensive installation of the 3-4. No contact today, possibly this evening in the closed practice. CJ was throwing some today. Kafka and Brewer both showed they had strong arms today as they threw many passes in drills downfield. Not as consistent as I would like but the more reps they get, the better they'll be. Nothing really to report since the day was mostly drills and technique. No board drill. No sprints. No tackling. In fact no tackling so far in Kenosha this year. I'd be interested in some comments but IMO it seems that Fitz is doing Kenosha somewhere between Barnett and Rock. |
