Sutton: 2 good pass protection blocks, 5 running touches and 3 scores, 2 receiving touches and 1 score. 7 touches = 4 scores.

Defensive Unit
DL:
Cofield: Played well. Seemed to re-injure his ankle and had it iced on the sidelines.
Shultz: Played quick today. Decent game
Gill: needs some more reps but should see plenty of action and will only get better
Wooten: See Gill
Bardwell: might be losing his position on the depth chart.
Smisek: might work his way into 2 Deep with some decent play today. Nice tackle of
Sutton. Now on the radar.
Clark: didn’t play
Hahn: Didn’t play
Keneedy: Didn’t play
Mims: Made a real nice play, should be our other starting DE.
Ngene: I don’t know, just didn’t really notice him out there. Has a lot of potential.
Anderson: Didn’t really take notice of him out there.
Koehn: Our best DE. Had one sack but held up. We mostly ran to other side but he contained decent on his side.
LB
McGarigle, Roach, Kadela, Jeske, all walked the sidelines.
Simpson: Had a real nice game. Seems to hit with his head a lot. Hard hitter though. Intense.
Johnson: Didn’t take any notice of him. Needs to realize his potential.
Wagner: nice INT.
Black: Didn’t take any notice of him.
Dinard: Good game for a freshman. He’s going to be a starter some day.
Eaton: Didn’t notice him much.
Arrignton: Got a lot of reps but had a few missives. Looked quick to the ball though.
Kwateng: Played but didn’t really notice him.
DB:
Heinz: Out for year.
Tarver: good game and will be a solid SS this year.
Smith: Had most tackles it seemed. More importantly he didn’t miss any. Overran one play. Will be moved to Strong Safety/Free Safety. Will be the immediate 2 deep on FS and SS. Already the first team nickel back. Starts on kickoff return team, punt team, etc. Can you tell I think this kid is solid?
Cole: looked solid
Henderson: had a nice game
Battle: good game.
Dious: suited up but I don’t believe he played.
McPherson: did a nice job.
Special Teams:
Peterson looked sharp. Punting 40 yards + and is excellent inside the 20. Cole downed one at the 1 today.
Howells: 2 Kickoffs: One 2 yards in the endzone. The other 1 yard line.
Sutton: nice kickoff return to the 25
Hamlett: great kickoff return from -2 to the 34
Howells: nailed a 50 yarder, could have made it from 54. Made some, missed some others. Looks decent though.
Goal line Offense: We played 4FB/TE: Mansfield, Malleo, Cobb, Abernathy with Roberson the deep back. We scored.
